07/2023 | In the Winter Semester of 2023/24, the department is once again offering seminars at both Bachelor's and Master's level, dealing with current challenges in the world of digital finance and technologies. A major focus is on Blockchain technology, which plays a vital role in creating and promoting open and decentralized financial infrastructures. The most well-known application of Blockchain technology lies in digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies, security tokens, or non-fungible tokens. Investor interest in these digital assets has significantly increased in recent years, along with the accompanying challenges. The seminars also cover other areas of application of Blockchain technology, particularly Open Finance. Open Finance is a concept based on the idea of open and decentralized financial infrastructure.
