Curriculum Vitae

Robin Pilsl is a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Information Systems and Management at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at the University of Augsburg.

As a scholarship holder of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Robin Pilsl completed a Master's degree in Digital Transformation Management (M.Sc.) at ESCP Business School in London and Paris. His chosen major was "Financial Services." In his master's thesis at the Jean-Baptiste Say Institute in Entrepreneurship and Strategy, he combined theoretical foundations with empirical findings by analyzing how the founding team background of deep tech start-ups impacts their venture performance based on a dataset from the French investment bank (Banque publique d'investissement).

Prior to his master's degree, Robin Pilsl studied economics (B.Sc.) at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he analyzed the effects of remote work on the economics of organizations in his bachelor's thesis, in cooperation with msg systems AG, using a variety of corporate data.

During his bachelor's degree, Robin Pilsl worked as a student trainee at msg systems AG in Group Strategy, Business Development, and Controlling. Subsequently, he completed several internships in the areas of Audit & Assurance, Public Sector Consulting, and M&A Advisory at the consultancies Deloitte and PwC. In the framework of his master's degree, he led a project to realign the business and go-to-market strategy of a Norwegian Artificial Intelligence EdTech start-up funded by the European Union. Robin Pilsl is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of PSC Partners since 2022. As an advisor to BMC Strategy Consultants, he also supports different digitalization and transformation projects for banks and insurance companies.
