Patrick Hoffmann was a presenter at this year’s Iberian Congress on Water Management and Planification (Congreso Ibérico de Planificación y Gestión de Agua, CIGPA), which took place from April 24 to 26, 2025 in Salamanca, Spain. As part of the thematic area “Advanced Governance of Water”, he presented joint work with Sergio Villamayor-Tomás and Paula Nu?ez Novo under the title “Understanding Drought Adaptation in Spanish Irrigation Systems – Results from a Hierarchical Cluster Analysis“. This study analyzes the collective measures that irrigation communities in Spain undertake to adapt to periods of droughts, utilizing a quantitative (Hierarchical Cluster Analysis) and qualitative (Interviews) method.
