At the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology of the University of Augsburg, the Chair of Nonlinear Analysis (Prof. Dr. Chengcheng Ling) is seeking to fill at the earliest possible date a

Postdoctoral Research Associate (m/f/d)

in full-time, fixed-term employment relationship for an initial period of two years. Part-time employment is possible.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will contribute to the research projects within the DFG project LI 4602/2-1 “Regularization by Noise: Well-posedness, Numerics, and Dynamical Behavior” with Prof. Dr. C. Ling and Prof. Dr. D. Bl?mker at the University of Augsburg. Opportunities for academic qualification and development are provided.

Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and possess strong expertise in stochastic analysis—particularly in areas such as stochastic differential equations, partial differential equations, numerical analysis, or (random) dynamical systems.

The required qualifications must be demonstrated through appropriate certificates submitted with the application.

Remuneration:
Salary will be based on pay grade 13 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L), provided that the personal and tariff-related
