"Supporting sustainability transformations with spatial analyses"

The presentation explores the possibilities of the current data deluge and spatial analysis in understanding and supporting sustainability transformations. It draws from the work of the Digital Geography Lab and other research groups to particularly discuss the role of mobile big data in understand the dynamism, diversity and development directions of urban areas and regions around them. The presentation provides also an overview on the mechanisms of integrating scientific knowledge on sustainability to practical decision making.

This hybrid event includes habilitation presentations and lectures to examine doctoral subject-specific aptitude. It is open to anyone who is interested. Registration is not required.
