This field of research includes the life sciences as well as environmental science and regional studies. Particularly strong in research are the subfields of medical information sciences, environment and health, as well as the life sciences. Although the Faculty of Medicine is still in the development phase, research is already being conducted in several high-level research projects. This field of research is characterised by interdisciplinary cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine and other faculties and disciplines of the university, including the Faculty of Applied Computer Science.
